Aysenur Saral is a visual artist who comes from eastern Thrace of Turkey with Gadjal (Gadzhal) Turk ethnicity. Saral has lived and has practiced her art works in Seattle area. She is mostly inspired by various cultural mythological subjects, such as “how the universe and the World were existed”. Everything in the universe was set up in balance against imbalance; e.g. darkness in chaos, brightness to renewal, and birth to death. The universe and life is within this vicious cycle of contrasts. While all of these contradictions have been occurring since the universe was in existence, there is always renewal. The feathers which Aysenur constantly incorporates in her works, symbolizes the renewal in the universe. Her works mainly express that there is no end or beginning. There is only regeneration in the Universe and the World.
